View Our Menu Our StoryThe Roasted Bean was born in 2018 when founder Maya Patel couldn't find a truly great cup of coffee in Hoboken. Trained as a barista in Portland and coffee-obsessed since her years in Melbourne, she took matters into her own hands.
We source single-origin beans directly from farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Guatemala — building relationships with growers who share our obsession with quality. Every roast is done in small batches, right here in Jersey City.
Today, The Roasted Bean is a second home for Hoboken's remote workers, families, artists, and commuters. We're proud to be the place where your morning starts right.
